Bruno Fernandes is demanding that Manchester United quit dropping so many points at home and have themselves a trophy after 4 years without any reasonable success.
Bruno Fernandes has made no secret of the truth that he is a bad loser and needs everyone around him at Old Trafford to have a similar mindset.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will now be hoping to see the winning mentality of a charismatic figure rub off on the rest squads of the Red Devils.
Together with steadiness across various competitions proving elusive still.
What exactly has been said?
Well Bruno Fernandes when asked how Manchester United can improve, here was his reply to FourFourTwo:
“We need to win more matches”.
“We can’t drop as many points as we do at home, but we’ve been in second, and at the start of the season there weren’t many people who were saying United would be second”.
He further mentioned:
“After a few games and a bad start, nobody was saying United could reach the top of the table, but we ignored what people were saying on the outside.
We knew what we had said on the inside, we had confidence that things would improve, and they did. We still have to be the best United we can, but we have improved.”
Bruno Fernandes also added on the need to secure major silverware. He said:
“We can’t think of anything else at this club.”
” United is made for trophies and the whole mood is around that. We reached the semis (of the League Cup) and lost to City, but that’s not enough.
That wasn’t our time – we need to be in finals, and to win them.”
Manchester United’s Record on Home soil in 2020 – 2021
Manchester United have received more points on their travels this season than they have taken at Old Trafford.
The side of Solskjaer still remains undealt with away from home, however have really suffered 4 defeats in their own backyard.
Also, they have been held in 3 Premier League outings in Manchester, with 8 victories only taken from 15 fixtures.
The defensive record of Manchester United on the road is far better than when running out on home soil. With only 7 fewer goals conceded, which is 13 compared to 20.
Also, defeat was suffered at Old Trafford to City in the Carabao Cup.
Whereas Paris Saint-Germain received a Champions League group-stage win during a reasonable visit to England.

Arch-rivals Manchester City keeps easing their way towards the Premier League title, with Manchester United left 14 points off the pace.
Manchester United has seen other routes already to domestic silverware in the FA Cup as well as the Carabao Cup shut off.
Thereby leaving them with only one more shot at glory in 2021.
The side of Solskjaer is into the quarter-finals of the Europa League. There they will meet Granada. However, they have made this habit of tripping up before trophies come into reach.
In the space of 12 months now, four semi-final setbacks have been suffered.
With Bruno Fernandes being part of those that are eager to see a concerning wrong righter in the not-too-distant future.
